Everyone deserves access to high-quality, professionally trained mental health care.

Relational Individual Counseling

Individual therapy gives you space to understand what you bring to your relationships, what you need, and what may be blocking closeness.

Drawing from emotionally focused therapy and a client-centered approach, we’ll explore those experiences while supporting clearer communication, meaningful boundaries, and greater emotional openness. Whether you’re preparing for couples counseling or exploring relationship concerns on your own, our work focuses on helping you show up more fully without losing sight of yourself. You don’t need to have everything resolved before beginning couples work, and you aren’t responsible for changing the relationship alone.

Trauma Therapy

Painful experiences can continue to shape how you feel about yourself, how you respond to others, and how you navigate daily life. Trauma therapy offers space to understand those connections without pressure to share everything at once or move faster than feels manageable.

Drawing from Internal Family Systems and a client-centered approach, we explore how different parts of you have learned to cope and protect you. Our work focuses on understanding those responses, processing difficult experiences, and developing more choice in how you respond in the present. You have a voice in the pace and direction of treatment, with attention to both what you have experienced and what you need now.

LGBtq+ & Kink sUPPORT

You deserve care that affirms who you are and takes your concerns seriously. I provide LGBTQ+-affirming counseling that makes room for the full range of your experiences, including relationships, family expectations, identity exploration, discrimination, and belonging.

Your identity may be central to why you’re here, or just one part of your life. Either way, you do not need to justify it to receive support. We focus on what matters to you, respecting your relationships, your choices, and how you understand yourself.

Based in Grand Rapids, our practice currently provides therapy exclusively through telehealth to clients across Michigan, Wisconsin, and Illinois. This means bringing care to the comfort of your home. We accept insurance in Michigan and Wisconsin, while services in Illinois are currently self-pay only.

As a small, dedicated team, we take the time to get to know you and understand what matters most to you. Our approach is personal and collaborative, with your experiences, needs, and goals guiding the work we do together.
